  1. For some of you, this might be a really important topic.
  2. That depends on how much you like this drink.
  3. Let me first talk about my relationship with coffee.
  4. I'm not an everyday coffee drinker,
  5. and I don't need coffee to feel awake or productive.
  6. In fact, sometimes caffeine can be hard for my body to handle.
  7. If I drink too much of it, I might feel anxious
  8. or just bad throughout the rest of the day.
  9. So as you can see, I don't need coffee in my life.
  10. However, on the other hand, I really like warm beverages.
  11. It doesn't matter if it's coffee, tea,
  12. hot chocolate, apple cider, or any other hot drink.
  13. I've always loved these types of drinks.
  14. So even though I don't need coffee,
  15. I actually do like drinking it.
  16. I often order coffee when I eat breakfast at restaurants
  17. and I even drink it at home sometimes.
  18. But I know many people who are dependent on coffee
  19. and who couldn't imagine starting their day without it.
  20. Okay, let's talk about the differences between coffee in different parts of the world.
  21. In the US, it's really common for people to drink a full cup of coffee.
  22. They fill up their mug and add sweeteners like coffee creamer or sugar.
  23. I remember that my parents always had different flavors
  24. of coffee creamer, like vanilla or hazelnut,
  25. and they would add a lot of this until their coffee was sweet.
  26. And oftentimes, they would refill their mug
  27. and drink a second cup of coffee in the morning.
  28. However, I know that in many European countries, this isn't normal.
  29. In some of these countries, it's more common to drink espresso shots.
  30. These shots are really small compared to the coffee that many Americans drink.
  31. They're usually more concentrated too so the flavor is much stronger.
  32. Honestly, I've only had one or two espresso shots in my whole life
  33. so I don't have much experience with this.
  34. I prefer drinking full cups of coffee
  35. because I like to savor the drink.
  36. This means that I like to drink it slowly
  37. and enjoy it for a longer period of time.

  41. Okay, let's talk a little bit about cafes.
  42. In many countries, cafes are for more than just coffee.
  43. Sure, there are many people that just order their coffee to go,
  44. but a lot of people spend time at coffee shops to work,
  45. hang out with friends, read, or just relax.
  46. A lot of cafes have good wifi, nice music, and comfortable seating.
  47. Personally, I love working at cafes.
  48. It's a nice change from working here at my house.
  49. I feel a lot more inspired when I'm in a different environment
  50. and when I see other people around me.
  51. Where I live, it's common for people to bring their laptop to the cafe
  52. and work while they're drinking their coffee.
  53. And I think that coffee shops are also comfortable places
  54. to just relax and enjoy a nice drink.
