  1. Traveling is one of the funnest activities.
  2. I've always loved traveling.
  3. When I was young,
  4. my family and I traveled to Hawaii many times.
  5. In case you don't know much about Hawaii,
  6. It's an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean,
  7. and it's also one of the 50 states of the US.
  8. I've been there about six or seven times.
  9. I don't remember how many exactly.
  10. It's definitely one of my favorite places in the world.
  11. Hawaii has plenty of really beautiful beaches,
  12. and the lifestyle there is slow and calm.
  13. But even though Hawaii is one of my favorite places to travel to,
  14. In general, I prefer the countryside, the forest,
  15. or the mountains more than the beach.
  16. So, I love taking camping trips and road trips.
  17. I've taken a few different road trips through the US before,
  18. and I just recently took a road trip through the Tuscany region of Italy.
  19. It was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had.
  20. If you ever get the chance to go to Italy,
  21. I highly recommend you to rent a car and drive through Tuscany.
  22. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
  23. Speaking of Europe,
  24. I also took a backpacking trip through Portugal
  25. and Spain a few years ago.
  26. It was my first time backpacking and it wasn't easy.
  27. We spent a lot of time walking and taking buses and trains
  28. and the whole time we had these big backpacks on our backs.
  29. We stayed in some pretty low quality hostels
  30. and thus we had some bad experiences.
  31. The worst thing that happened to me was that I was bitten by bedbugs
  32. when I was in Madrid.
  33. I don't know if you've ever been bitten by bedbugs before,
  34. but it's not a fun experience.
  35. And for me, it was worse because I have really sensitive skin.
  36. So I didn't just have little red spots on my skin.
  37. I had big swollen sores all over my arms.
  38. So if you plan on staying in hostels
  39. when you travel, you should definitely read the online reviews first.
  40. Sometimes it's better to pay a little more money
  41. to stay in a better place.
  42. Some people only like staying in hotels,
  43. and other people really like Airbnbs.
  44. And lately, I've been staying at Airbnbs
  45. no matter where I travel.
  46. It's definitely better than staying in hostels, in my opinion.
  47. Another aspect of travel that's really important is the flight.
  48. This is probably the worst part about traveling.
  49. Actually, it is the worst part, definitely.
  50. I've been pretty lucky because I haven't had any really bad flights,
  51. but I have had experiences with long delays and canceled flights,
  52. which can really ruin your trip.
  53. There were two times
  54. when I had to spend the night at the airport,
  55. which was terrible.
  56. I hope you guys don't ever have that experience.
  57. So, overall there are good and bad things about traveling,
  58. but I think we can all agree
  59. that it's nice to travel once in a while.
