Pencil Case

Today I'm going to talk about the things that I have in my pencil case.

1. Today I'm going to talk about the things
2. that I have in my pencil case.
3. I always take my pencil case
4. with me when I go to class.
5. It is always in my backpack.
6. In my pencil case I have three pencils.
7. I use my pencils for drawing or writing.
8. I like using pencils because I can use my rubber
9. or eraser if I make a mistake.
10. I also have four pens in my pencil case.
11. I have one black pen, two blue pens and one red pen.
12. I usually use a blue pen
13. to write and to do exercises
14. but I use a red pen to correct the exercises.
15. When I do an exam,
16. I use a blue pen or a black pen
17. and the teacher uses a red pen to correct the exams.
18. I have one rubber or eraser,
19. as they say in the United States,
20. to rub out or erase the mistakes that I have made
21. when I was using a pencil.
22. Then I have a ruler
23. which I use to draw straight lines and measure.
24. My ruler is made of plastic
25. but there are also rulers that are made of metal.
26. I don't really use my ruler often
27. because in my classes we don't need to measure
28. or draw straight lines usually
29. but if you are studying a degree like mathematics, art
30. or architecture for example they are necessary
31. because you will use them a lot in your classes
32. I have one sharpener in my pencil case.
33. I use my sharpener to sharpen my pencils.
34. I usually use the sharpener to sharpen my colouring pencils
35. because I have a set of 12 colouring pencils with all different colours.
36. My favourite object in my pencil case are my highlighters.
37. I use these a lot in my classes
38. because I use them to mark the important information
39. in my notes or in texts.
40. I have a pack of five highlighters.
41. They are yellow, orange, pink, purple and blue.
42. Two things that I have in my pencil case
43. that I don't normally use are my scissors,
44. which you can use to cut paper,
45. or other materials and a glue stick
46. which is a small tube of glue.
47. In my degree we don't do a lot of crafts.
48. We don't usually use scissors or glue sticks
49. only when we are doing projects.
50. In these projects we have a piece of card
51. and we decorate it.
52. So in this case we do need some scissors
53. and some glue but we don't do this often.
54. I also have some sticky notes in my pencil case.
55. Sticky notes are small pieces of paper
56. that have a bit of glue on the back
57. and you can put them on different places.
58. So for example you can stick it
59. in your book, on the wall
60. or on your computer screen and I think
61. this is a great idea when you are studying.
62. If you need to learn a word
63. and you can't remember the word,
64. you can write it on a sticky note
65. and you can put it on your desk
66. or on your computer screen and then you will remember it.
67. In my pencil case I also have some paper clips
68. which are small metal or plastic clips
69. that you can put on a piece
70. or some pieces of paper to keep them together.
71. This is a great option to use
72. to organize your papers or documents.
73. Similarly, I have a stapler in my pencil case.
74. A stapler has small pieces of metal inside that are called staples.
75. And you can use a stapler to staple
76. or put together two different pieces of paper.
77. Finally, some things that I don't have in my pencil case
78. are felt pens and crayons.
79. I don't normally colour in my classes,
80. so I don't have any of these colours in my pencil case.
81. But I know that a lot of children take these to school
82. because they spend a lot of time colouring
83. in their classes, especially in their art classes.
