  3. and learn the latest news while I am travelling from one place to another.
  4. Of course, you can also listen to the radio at home, or even at work.
  5. Listening to the radio is a popular activity for many people,
  6. and each city has many different radio stations.
  7. There are many different kinds of radio stations.
  8. Some radio stations provide news and information.
  9. Other radio stations have a "talk" format,
  10. where listeners can call the radio station's experts,
  11. to discuss political affairs or to ask for personal advice.
  12. Although there are many radio stations that provide news and opinions,
  13. most radio stations are mainly devoted to playing music of some kind.
  14. For example, some radio stations play the songs that are currently most popular,
  15. often called the "top 40" songs.
  16. Other radio stations specialize in particular types of music.
  17. There are some stations that play only classical music.
  18. Other radio stations mainly play jazz music.
  19. Some very popular radio stations play "hard rock" music.
  20. Others specialize in country music.
  21. Some people prefer radio stations that play rhythm-and-blues music.
  22. Still other people enjoy radio stations that specialize in soft, "easy listening" music.
