2. I want to start today by thanking the Fashion Department here at New York University for arranging today's conference on sustainability.
3. I was thrilled to be invited by the head of the department, Ms. Witherspoon, to talk about sustainability in fashion.
4. I worked in fast fashion for fifteen years before making the change to sustainable garments.
5. My job is to find new ways to make sustainability affordable and accessible to everyone.
6. Today, I would like to talk about some initiatives I have been working on,
7. including reusing fabric scraps that were typically thrown away.
8. In thirty minutes, at the end of my speech, I will be holding a Q&A session in the student union.
