  1. The other day I was walking my dog around the park
  2. And I looked at all the people
  3. Who were enjoying their free time playing,
  4. Walking and doing all different types of activities in the park.
  5. There were a lot of adults but there were also some children
  6. I sat on the bench
  7. Next to the children's park in the play area
  8. I sat next to an elderly woman which means an old woman
  9. But it doesn't sound nice if you say an old woman
  10. So I sat next to an elderly woman and two little girls.
  11. When I sat down, the two young girls
  12. Asked me about my dog.
  13. The girls were very small.
  14. I think they were three and five years old.
  15. They were very nice.
  16. The lady was their grandmother and they were visiting the park
  17. To play and go for a walk.
  18. The lady looked quite tired because her grandchildren were very young
  19. And they had a lot of energy.
  20. So she was sitting on the bench to rest for a bit.
  21. The little girls seemed very happy.
  22. To play with my dog, so I gave them my dog's ball
  23. So that they could play with him.
  24. They were running and playing with the dog,
  25. And the lady said to me, You're very clever.
  26. Now I can have a rest.
  27. I thought she was alone,
  28. But her husband was in the park too.
  29. He was walking around the park
  30. Because he thought that sitting on the bench was boring.
  31. So he took their baby grandson for a walk.
  32. He was pushing him all around the park in his pushchair.
  33. They came back and I saw the baby.
  34. He was beautiful.
  35. He was only four months old.
  36. I said that they were very brave to look after three children
  37. And they thought that it was very funny.
  38. The elderly man was very friendly
  39. And he seemed quite happy to spend time with his grandchildren.
  40. But he was feeling tired too, so they told the little girls
  41. That it was time to go home.
  42. When they left, I continued to play with my dog,
  43. And then we went home too.
  44. I love meeting new people, especially elderly people and children.
  45. Because they always seem so friendly.
