  1. In today's video we are going to talk about my family.
  2. My family is very big.
  3. I have one brother and two sisters.
  4. My brother is called Tom
  5. and my sisters are called Rachel and Lucy.
  6. My brother and sisters live in the same city as me,
  7. so we spend a lot of time together.
  8. My sisters like spending time outside,
  9. like going for a walk,
  10. going to the pool or to the beach,
  11. but my brother prefers to do activities at home.
  12. He likes to play video games and watch sports at home.
  13. He loves to watch the Formula One races and watch football matches.
  14. My parents, so my mother and my father,
  15. who I call mum and dad,
  16. live in the countryside.
  17. They are like my sisters.
  18. They love spending time in nature.
  19. When I visit my parents with my brother and my sisters,
  20. we normally go for a long walk in the mountains
  21. or at the beach.
  22. My grandparents, so my grandmother
  23. and grandfather who I call grandma and granddad,
  24. live on the other side of the country.
  25. I don't visit my grandparents often
  26. because they live very far from my city.
  27. My grandparents have a lot of grandchildren
  28. and their youngest grandchild is seven years old.
  29. They have five grandsons and three granddaughters.
  30. There are more boys than girls in my family.
  31. My grandparents love travelling.
  32. They have got a caravan and they travel around England.
  33. I also have a lot of uncles and aunts.
  34. I have three aunts
  35. and their husbands who are my uncles my grandparents
  36. grandchildren are my cousins some of my cousins are already married
  37. so they have a wife or a husband
  38. But none of my cousins have got any daughters or sons.
  39. They don't have any children yet.
  40. My cousins are my dad's nieces and nephews.
  41. They are his sister's children.
  42. My dad has a great relationship with his nieces and nephews
  43. and they spend a lot of time together
  44. because my dad visits his sisters quite often.
  45. When my dad visits his sisters,
  46. He also does different activities with his brother's in-law.
  47. A brother in-law or a sister in-law is the person who your sister
  48. or brother is in a relationship with.
  49. For example, my brother has a partner
  50. and his partner is my sister-in-law.
  51. In my family, we don't have any stepmothers or stepfathers.
  52. Stepmothers or stepfathers are your mother's or father's partner
  53. but they are not your father
  54. or mother if your parents separate
  55. and they start a new relationship with someone
  56. they would be your stepmother or stepfather
  57. and if this new member of your family had children
  58. they would be your stepsister or stepbrother.
  59. This is different from half-sister or half-brother.
  60. If you have a half-sister or half-brother that means that your dad
  61. or your mom had a child with another person
  62. so you have a blood connection with them
  63. because they are the son or daughter of one of your parents
  64. but you don't have blood connection with a stepbrother or a stepsister.
  65. Someone else in my family is my partner.
  66. He is my husband.
  67. My husband's mother is my mother-in-law
  68. and my husband's father is my father-in-law.
  69. And like we said before his sisters are my sisters-in-law
  70. and his brothers are my brothers-in-law
