  1. Everyone loves listening to music.
  2. We listen to it when we are happy
  3. or when we are sad.
  4. It can make us feel better
  5. and it can make moments more special.
  6. There is always a perfect song for every moment.
  7. There are some songs that are great for driving
  8. and others that are amazing for parties and dancing.
  9. We can even listen to slow music at a serious event
  10. or when we aren't feeling well.
  11. My favourite music genres are pop, rock, and indie.
  12. It is music that is very easy to listen to in the car, at home,
  13. or while doing exercise.
  14. Also, it is great to sing along to.
  15. I think that this is why these genres are so popular.
  16. There are also other genres like hip-hop,
  17. soul, reggae, country, rap or classical music.
  18. I don't like these genres so much because they are more intense
  19. and it is quite difficult to sing along to the songs.
  20. I love going to see artists singing live.
  21. I love going to concerts and festivals.
  22. But I think that I prefer concerts
  23. because you can sit down on a seat.
  24. At a festival you have to stand up
  25. and if you want to go to the toilet,
  26. or to buy a drink or some food,
  27. you can't go back and stand at the same place.
  28. When you go to a festival,
  29. you need to stand for hours in the same place for this reason.
  30. I like going to festivals in the United Kingdom in the summer.
  31. Because the weather is normally sunny and warm.
  32. Nowadays there is a lot of electronic music which is great for parties.
  33. There are a lot of festivals in Europe that are for people who like electronic music
  34. and a lot of famous DJs go to play their songs.
  35. At the moment there are also a lot of rappers in the charts
  36. which is the list of the top 40 songs.
  37. Rap is not one of my favourite genres
  38. but I think that the lyrics are very clever.
  39. It is very difficult to write the lyrics
  40. and sing them so quickly.

  43. I usually listen to music on my mobile phone
  44. or on the radio when I am in my car.
  45. I use platforms like YouTube,
  46. or Spotify because they are free to use.
  47. I don't use CDs because it is an old-fashioned way to listen to music.
  48. Also, it is quite expensive.
  49. I sometimes only like one song of an artist,
  50. not all of their songs.
  51. And I don't want to buy their album.
  52. Do you still buy CDs
  53. or do you use streaming platforms like me?
  54. I like listening to the radio
  55. because you can listen to new songs that you didn't know before.
  56. I know that some people don't like the radio because there are adverts,
  57. but it is the same as YouTube, for example,
  58. so I don't mind.
  59. My favourite radio station is one that plays music from the 80s.
  60. I think that the 80s has the best music.
  61. There are a lot of great hits that are still amazing to listen to in this decade.
  62. My parents listen to this music a lot,
  63. so I listen to it quite often.

  65. I know how to play the guitar.
  66. A little bit and I went to guitar classes for a few years
  67. but I think that it is quite difficult to play a musical instrument when you live in a flat
  68. because it is very noisy for your neighbours.
  69. I would love to learn how to play the drums or the piano.
  70. It is possible to learn to play these instruments online by watching YouTube videos,
  71. but it is difficult to stay motivated.
  72. Also, I only have a guitar in my house.
